Interactive experiences for an evolving IP
Interactive IP / Video Games / Worldbuilding
Goblintown is an entertainment IP developed by Truth Arts, spanning storytelling, games, digital experiences, and community-driven worldbuilding. I contributed to the development of a 100% hand-drawn roguelike game, designing gameplay systems, UI/UX, and interactive experiences that expanded the Goblintown universe.
Strong IPs extend beyond a single medium. Interactive experiences allow audiences to engage with a world rather than simply observe it, creating deeper participation and long-term community engagement.
The goal was to translate Goblintown's personality and worldbuilding into a range of interactive products and experiences. Rather than simply extending the brand into new mediums, each experience was designed to reinforce the humor, unpredictability, and identity that defined the broader IP.
I designed and developed a 100% hand-drawn roguelike game, contributing gameplay systems, concept exploration, UI/UX, and front-end implementation. Beyond the game, I designed interactive products and web experiences that extended the Goblintown IP while maintaining a cohesive experience across the broader Truth Arts ecosystem.
The project expanded the Goblintown ecosystem through games, interactive products, and digital experiences, creating new ways for audiences to engage with the IP while reinforcing a cohesive experience across the broader Truth Arts universe.
